Trey blindsided Ace Austin, leading to a nasty brawl between the two near the ring. Austin launched a chair into Trey's face and began insulting his long-time rival.
Austin choked out Trey with a broom handle before cracking him in the back with another steel chair shot. Trey managed to duck a chop, sending Ace's hand into a steel post. A superkick knocked the former X-Division Champion into a pile of chairs.
Madman Fulton made the save, but was chased off by Wentz. It was a stalemate tonight on IMPACT Wrestling. However, at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary, this rivalry comes to a head.
