Trey and Ace Austin tore each other apart days before their epic four-way bout at Slammiversary
Trey and Ace Austin tore each other apart days before their epic four-way bout at Slammiversary

Eddie Edwards claimed that everything that happened to him, from joining Killer Kowalski's wrestling school to teaming with Davey Richards to getting his face crushed in by Sami Callihan's bat, has lead him to this moment. At Slammiversary, Eddie Edwards will once again be IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.

Trey and Wentz were talking strategy when they noticed Ace Austin was at their gym. They couldn't let that slide, so The Rascalz decided to pay him and Madman Fulton a visit.

Wentz hit the big man with a trash can, managing to goad him into a trap. He quickly escaped, though, and chased Wentz around the building. Trey blindsided Ace Austin, leading to a nasty brawl between the two near the ring. Austin launched a chair into Trey's face and began insulting his long-time rival.

Austin choked out Trey with a broom handle before cracking him in the back with another steel chair shot. Trey managed to duck a chop, sending Ace's hand into a steel post. A superkick knocked the former X-Division Champion into a pile of chairs.

Madman Fulton made the save, but was chased off by Wentz. It was a stalemate tonight on IMPACT Wrestling. However, at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary, this rivalry comes to a head.

As the show ended, Scott D'Amore received a letter giving him some exciting news.
