
Austin continued to try and pick up Alisha Edwards, this time using the classic d....bird in a box trick, trying to get Alisha to touch the bird. Before that could happen, Stone Rockwell appeared, pulling Austin by the bird to try and get the poor thing some help.
Konnan was trying to get Ortiz to calm down after Santana was injured at Slammiversary. To fix the problem, he brought in Daga to replace the fallen LAX member. Ortiz said he appreciated what he did, and knows Daga is an incredible athlete, but he's not what they need right now.
He took another shot from his drink and left as Konnan and Daga were left trying to figure out the situation. LAX will challenge The North for the Impact Tag Team Titles in two weeks.

Melissa Santos interviewed Michael Elgin about his upcoming Street Fight with Brian Cage. Elgin said that, though the champion is a Machine, he's the one that keeps breaking it down. Instead of focusing on Melissa, he should be focused on Big Mike. And that will be his downfall tonight.
X-Division Championship Match: Jake Crist vs Rich Swann
Crist took Swann down with a side headlock. Swann made it back to his feet twice but Crist was able to keep the champion in his grasp. Attempting to shoot the challenger off into the ropes twice, Swan still couldn't escape.
Rolling backward, Swann finally shook Crist, and the two traded side headlock-headscissor holds. They stood up at the same time, with Swann taunting Crist, who rushed him only to be sent outside. A dive onto Crist got a standing ovation from the crowd.
Jake Crist was rolled back inside where Kid Ref began to check on him. With his back turned to Swann, Dave Crist rushed him and struck him from behind. Swann delivered a spinning back kick to take him out, but a diving tornado DDT from Jake Crist planted him head-first on the floor as we went to the break.
Back from commercial, Crist had Swann in the corner, washing his face with a series of forearms. A side Russian leg sweep from Crist set up for the Koji Clutch. Swann tried to counter with a pinfall, but Crist popped out, with him still in the hold.
Swann finally broke out but had his eyes gouged, allowing Crist to place him in the recliner. Swann broke out again only to be sent into the corner with a boot. Swann fought out of the said corner with a series of kicks and followed up with a rolling clothesline. A punching combination sent Crist to his knees where he was met with a series of kicks. Crist kicked out.
A death valley driver from Crist dropped Swann on his neck. Swann kicked out and rushed him in the corner where he was tossed onto the bottom turnbuckle with a snap powerslam. Swann kicked out. The two men began trading forearms and fists, with Swann getting the best of him with a rolling roundhouse kick. The diving elbow hit its mark, but Crist still kicked out.
Chasing Swann up top, a superplex from Crist was followed up with a spinning neckbreaker. Swann broke out of the pin. Even a sunset flip powerbomb couldn't give Crist the victory. The two traded another series of kicks, which again saw Swann get the better of Crist. the Phoenix Splash connected, but as Jake Crist rolled to the rope, Dave put his foot on the rope, breaking up the pin.
Swann chased Dave around the ring, and when he led him back inside, dropped both men with the handspring cutter. The Ref checked on Dave, allowing Madman Fulton to shove Swann off the top rope into a cutter from Crist. A corner springboard cutter.
Results: Jake Crist defeated Rich Swann via pinfall.
oVe, sans Callihan, celebrated in the ring as Jake Crist was awarded the X-Division Championship.
