Scarlett Bordeaux kicked off the Smokeshow backstage and was met by Taya Valkyrie backstage. Fallah Bahh popped champagne while the two talked on the couch. Bordeaux asked what it was like for Valkyrie to be the only champion in the Slamtown Household.

The Knockouts Champion was then asked about the 30-day clause for her title. Luckily, Bordeaux knows who she'll be defending against next week...Su Yung.

Michael Elgin vs Willie Mack w/Rich Swann

Mack and Elgin locked up in the middle to a stalemate. The two traded elbow strikes and shoulder blocks, and Elgin avoided a fireman's carry slam, rocking Mack with a few more elbows. As he bounced off the ropes, Mack dropped him with a shoulder tackle and a leaping blockbuster. Elgin kicked out at two.

Elgin tried to take over with a few more massive shots, but huge enziguri followed by an exploder suplex. Mack stopped before missing a cannonball to the corner as Big Mike had rolled to the apron. On the outside, Mack blocked a boot and rocked Elgin with another elbow. Elgin avoided another slam, hanging Mack on the ropes and catching him with a superkick, followed by a running dropkick sending him crashing to the floor below.

Back from commercial, a standing dropkick leveled Mack, but he was able to kick out. Mack countered a clothesline in the corner with a boot and took down the Unbreakable One with a few clotheslines of his own. A spinning heel kick took Elgin down, and a massive slam set up for the running leg drop. Elgin kicked out.

Mack ran in for a clothesline in the corner only to be met with an enziguri. He shook it off quick, and planted Elgin with a sitout spinebuster. Elgin kicked out. The stunner was blocked, but Elgin was met with a massive elbow. Running across the ring, Mack was lit up by a boot, an enziguri, and a massive superkick.

Up top, Elgin tossed Mack across the ring with a sky high superplex. An Elgin Bomb was blocked by Mack, and he led the #1 Contender to the World Title into the corner, crushing his shoulder in the ring post. Mack went for a dive to the outside, but Elgin brought in Rich Swann to block it. When Mack didn't dive, Swann dropped the X-Division Champion spine first across the apron.

Mack dove outside to get some revenge. However, checking on Swann signalled his doom, as when he went back inside he was leveled by a massive clothesline, followed by a buckle bomb and the devastating Elgin Bomb.

Results: Michael Elgin defeated Willie Mack via pinfall.

Post match, Elgin picked Mack up for another bomb. Swann made the save with an enziguri, and reigned down a flurry of punches on Elgin's head. Johnny Impact saved Elgin, and drove Swann into the mat with a Razor's Edge spun out into a side slam.

Michael Elgin accepted Impact's help, or so it seemed. He shook Impact's hand, but when he turned around he was launched into the ropes and spiked with a German suplex. He then set his sights on Mack, powerbombing the big man into the post.
