Eddie Edwards looked to put Ace Austin out ahead of their Slammiversary match

We got a peek into the life of Deonna Purrazzo, with pictures of The Virtuosa's wrestling career so far. Her journey from IMPACT Wrestling, to Japan and Europe and some of the best promotions in the United States, all the way back to IMPACT. Purrazzo's learned a lot in her short but impressive career, and she's here to make a statement.

Jordynne Grace was interviewed about Purrazzo and said all she had to do for an opportunity at the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship was to simply ask. She was cut off from her next point by...Deonna Purrazzo, who again locked her in an armbar.

IMPACT Wrestling Main Event: Ace Austin vs Eddie Edwards in a Street Fight

Eddie Edwards didn't even give Ace Austin a chance to get down the ramp, driving him head first into the ring. As Edwards left to get some weapons, Austin armed himself with a steel chair.

Edwards ran down with a steel trash can, catching Edwards going for a kick off the apron. Austin fell to the floor and was crotched on the steel ring post. However, he pulled a cane out of nowhere, bashing Edwards in the skull. However, during the break, Austin was able to gain the upper hand, sticking Edwards in the trash can inside the ring and pelting him with kicks.

A suplex to a street sign and some cookie sheets to the head dazed the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. Edwards fought back, rocking Austin with a baking sheet in kind. As Austin was sent to the floor, he picked up a garbage can lid, driving it into Edwards' head as he leapt in for a suicide dive.

Austin took Edwards to the ramp, driving some foreign object into the eye. Edwards avoided The Fold onto a propped up guard rail, instead launching Austin onto it with an over the head belly-to-belly suplex.

Inside the ring, a Blue Thunder Bomb earned Edwards a two-count. Edwards continued to pile on the punishment with baking sheets and street signs, but as he picked up the chair, a springboard roundhouse bounced it off of his head. Austin brought in a table, looking to put Edwards through it and possibly out of the Slammiversary match if the damage is too severe.

With the table set up, Edwards caught Austin going to the top. However, a playing card to the eyes blinded him. Ace followed up with a spinning back kick to the jaw, but couldn't get the win. Edwards, nearly blind, caught Ace with another shot from the street sign before planting him with a tiger driver on IMPACT.

Edwards picked up Kenny, but a drop toe hold took him down face first onto the sign. Austin grabbed Kenny, but missed the swing. Edwards picked it up, bouncing it off of Austin's head. Edwards turned the table upside down, driving Austin's neck into the leg of the table with a backbreaker.

Edwards set up for the Boston Knee Party, but he was blindsided by Madman Fulton, who bounced Edwards off the mat with two chokeslams. Fulton then held him up so Austin could hit The Fold on IMPACT.

Results: Ace Austin defeated Eddie Edwards via pinfall in the IMPACT Wrestling main event.
