The Rascalz talked backstage in a sauna as they argued about who would be competing in the tag team match at Slammiversary. They could not come to an agreement and it ended up being decided that the three of them would be facing each other in a Triple Threat Match, where the loser won't be a part of the team at Slammiversary.

Brian Cage addresses the crowd
Doctor Ariel blocked Brian Cage's way into the ring saying that he was not medically cleared. Cage lifted the doctor out of the way and ignored him continuing on his path.
Brian Cage came out to the ring to talk about his Impact World Championship match against Michael Elgin at Slammiversary.
Brian Cage said that it had taken him 14 years to stake his claim as one of the best at wrestling and that's why he was the Impact World Wrestling Champion. He said that Michael Elgin took the biggest moment of his life from him and sent him to the hospital.
Cage declared that he was not going back to the hospital and he was going to find out at Slammiversary that he could not break 'The Machine'.
Dr Ariel came out again to say that he was not cleared to perform. Cage picked up Dr Ariel and hit him with an F5.
Michael Elgin attacked Cage from behind and hit him with a Buckle Bomb followed by the Elgin Bomb. Cage was not moving and he was out. Elgin was about to leave, but Cage grabbed on to his jeans. Elgin hit him with another Elgin Bomb!
Elgin went out and set up a table outside the ring. He set up Cage and hit him with a running Elgin Bomb through the table on the outside. Elgin stood tall with the Championship as Cage lay motionless on the outside.
Michael Elgin was about to hit Don Callis with an Elgin Bomb, but Cage managed to get up and make the save, with the show coming to an end with the two men brawling.
