The heart of IMPACT Wrestling took on the workhorse of The Good Brothers in this stellar main event. Eddie Edwards hit an inverted atomic drop/belly-to-belly combination.
Karl Anderson was sent to the floor where he, and Doc Gallows, were hit by a high-speed suicide dive from Edwards as we cut to the final commercial break of the night.
When we returned, Anderson managed to knock Edwards off the top thanks to a distraction from Doc Gallows. Edwards' back cracked on the ring post before falling to the floor below. Anderson followed the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion around the ring, bouncing Edwards off the ring post, barricade, and steps.
Back in the ring, Anderson worked over Edwards with a chin lock, yanking Edwards' braids down to the mat when he seemingly got away. Eventually, Edwards bounced back with a clothesline out of the corner. IMPACT Wrestling's Machine Gun failed to hit a suplex, with Eddie countering for a gourdbuster.
A step-up enziguri at the top set Edwards up for the Backpack Stunner, but Anderson kicked out. The Blue Thunder Bomb connected, but Anderson broke out again.
Anderson made it back to his feet, leading to a nasty striking trade. Edwards was hammered with an uppercut, but responded with a headbutt. Anderson bounced back and ran in with a flying big boot for a two-count.
Edwards narrowly avoided the Gun Stun and rolled up Anderson. As the ref checked the shoulders, Anderson sent Edwards onto the ropes and Doc Gallows, who was waiting with the steel chair. Anderson followed up with the Double A spinebuster, picking up a big win in the IMPACT Wrestling main event.
The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions appeared on screen to congratulate The Good Brothers for getting back to their winning ways, but that won't be the case when Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows challenge for the gold at Rebellion.
