Back from commercial, Melissa Santos was standing outside of Impact Management's office. Valkyrie was screaming at them behind a closed door, demanding that she wouldn't be forced to defend the Knockouts Championship as much as Johnny Impact defended the Impact World Championship. She left the office with a smile on her face, revealing to Santos that she only had to defend the title every thirty days. Next week, Valkyrie will take on Madison Rayne, but it won't be for the championship.

LAX were backstage drinking and counting their money as Konnan joined them. He asked them to calm down with the partying, as they're defending the titles at Code Red in a few days, and also had The North to deal with. Ortiz said that the Rascalz invited them to the Treehouse, so they should at least do that before getting back to training.

Eddie Edwards vs Fenix

With both Edwards and Fenix out of the tag division, both men looked to begin building steam quickly in singles competition. They shook hands in the middle of the ring before moving onto mat wrestling. Edwards took over early. Fenix escaped, locking him into a crossface. Edwards countered with a pinfall, forcing Fenix to break the hold, allowing both men to get to their feet.

Edwards shot Fenix off into the corner. The luchador went for a dive, but Edwards avoided the attack. Fenix managed to avoid an attack in the ropes, connecting with a kick that caught Edwards in the face. Edwards went outside and picked up Kenny. Fenix looked for the Rolling Cutter, but was stopped by a threatening Edwards holding Kenny outwards. He was forced to put Kenny down by the ref, allowing Fenix to connet with a rolling dropkick.

Edwards chased him into the ropes. Fenix tried to fake him out, but was knocked to the ground with a dropkick to the face. As Edwards went outside, Killer Kross was seen standing on the stage. Edwards noticed Kross, but continued to attack Fenix, bringing him back inside.

Fenix fought back, crashing into Edwards with a rolling clothesline in the corner and a rolling crucifix pin. Edwards escaped and countered a tilt-a-whirl maneuver with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Fenix kicked out, and Edwards stared into the eyes of Kross.

Taking his eyes off of his opponent allowed Fenix to recover a bit, bringing the two into a striking war. The Rolling Cutter finally connected. Edwards avoided another maneuver, bringing Fenix down with the Tiger Driver. Kross made his way down to the ring and picked up Kenny. Edwards, irate, went towards Kross. Kross offered him Kenny, but held it, distracting him and allowing Fenix to connect with two roundhouse kicks and a spinning package driver.

Results: Fenix defeated Eddie Edwards via pinfall.

Killer Kross left the arena with an evil smile across his face and Kenny in his hand. Edwards eventually came to, and realized that Kenny was missing.
