Rob Van Dam was seen in a hot tub with Katie Forbes. He talked to the IMPACT fans about when he'll step in the ring again. After flaunting Forbes for a bit, RVD said that they'll both return next week.
Jake Crist vs Daga
Daga and Crist threw several kicks, with both men avoiding the blows. However, the Golden Draw was sent to the outside following a running hurricanrana and a dropkick. A corner springboard corkscrew plancha to the outside leveled the former X-Division Champion.
Crist caught Daga going for an enziguri on the apron and hung his leg up on the ropes with a dragon screw. Daga fell to the outside where Crist dove in with a suicide dive-turned-tornado DDT. Daga landed with a handspring, saving himself from certain disaster and popping to his feet. However, Crist threw him overhead with a belly-to-belly, leading to commercial.
Back from the break, Crist had taken control of the bout. A Last Chancery left Daga in some serious trouble in the middle of the ring. El Jefe managed to break out with a few elbows to the head, and leveled Crist with a series of clotheslines and right hands. A tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and DDT gave Daga a two-count.
Crist caught Daga in mid air for a Death Valley Driver. Daga responded with the same, leaving both men flat on their backs. Daga bounced Crist with a deadlift dragon suplex, followed by a German suplex. However, as he ran in the corner, Crist sent him over with a belly-to-belly. Crist's four-kick combination set up Daga for a nearfall.
Daga was taken up top, where he gained the upper hand again with a leaping hurricanrana. Followed by that was a lifted double underhook facebuster, landing Crist on his knees.
Results: Daga defeated Jake Crist via pinfall.
