Kimber Lee w/Deonna Purrazzo vs Susie w/Kylie Rae on IMPACT Wrestling
Susie managed to pick up a huge head of steam early on against Kimber Lee but was halted by a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The backup of IMPACT Wrestling's Knockouts Champion choked out Susie in the ropes before sending her to the floor with a dropkick. As Lee distracted the ref, Deonna Purrazzo stomped out Susie.
Kimber Lee rocked Susie with a series of devastating kicks before locking in a nasty knee breaker. Lee was nearly caught in the Arachnarana, but countered, trapping Susie in a Boston Crab. Susie just barely made it to the ropes.
The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion struggled to get anything going, as Lee leveled her with more kicks. She avoided a body splash in the corner and sent Lee overhead with a monkey flip, though, finally getting some offense in. After a series of palm strikes, a Thesz Press and mounted punches left Lee dazed in the corner.
A turnbuckle walking head scissor stunned Lee, nearly giving Susie the win. As Susie bounced off the ropes for the potential finish, Kimber Lee drove her into the mat with a sit-out powerbomb. Lee moved up for a Swanton Bomb attempt, only to be held off by Susie.
Purrazzo attempted to hold Susie by the legs, but the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion accidentally hit Lee instead. Susie followed up with the Panic Switch, getting the win.
Results: Susie defeated Kimber Lee via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.
Grade: B+
After the match, Kylie Rae and Susie were attacked by Deonna. She held Susie in the Fujiwara Armbar for a few seconds before getting blasted with a superkick by Kylie. As Purrazzo rolled to the floor, Rae confirmed she'd be facing her for the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship at Bound for Glory.
Near the end of the match, Susie nearly turned into Su Yung, but was again stopped by Rae.
We got a #Heath4IMPACT ad, this time with it lasting longer than thirty seconds. The production quality was a lot better this time around, probably because of the money that they'd stolen from Hernandez.
The money also bought several Cameo appearances by David Hasslehoff, Flavor Flav, Nancy Kerrigan, and Chuck Norris. D'Lo "DeLorean" Brown also appeared, giving Scott D'Amore guff for letting Heath get his truck repo'd by an actual Repo Man.
The Good Brothers interrupted a conversation between the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions, but were quickly sidetracked when they were challenged to a match by The Rascalz. The Motor City Machine Guns were excited to avoid another story by The Macinegun and The Big LG, and were pretty supportive of The Rascalz.
