Impact World Champion Johnny Impact & Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie vs Brian Cage & Jordynne Grace
The Knockouts began the match, with Grace running Valkyrie over and deliviring a running clothesline to go for an early pin. The Knockouts Champion was bounced between corners like a pinball. Eventually she countered, but took a boot to the face and was launched shoulder first into the ringpost.
Running knees to the back and a running elbow left Valkyrie down on the mat. A Vader Bomb nearly gave Grace the win, but Vaklyrie escaped and went to tag Impact. Impact wasn't having it, jumping off the ropes.
Grace tagged in Cage, forcing Impact to get in on the action. Impact aimed for the stick and move strategy, stinging Cage with various strikes while avoiding the Machine's grappling power. However, Cage caught a kick and launched him overhead with ease.
Impact made it to the ropes where he avoided Cage yet again, then connected with a springboard corkscrew crossbody. Impact sent him into the corner, but he shot back out and nearly decapitated the champ with a clothesline. A back body drop sent Impact spinning for a few rotations before landing face first. In the corner, he was pelted with several clotheslines.
Impact escaped, but Cage blocked Taya Valkyrie. Impact poked him in the eyes, finally managing to tag his wife. Grace came in quick and set up Valkyrie for a suplex, but Impact pulled her legs out from under her, allowing Valkyrie to land on top of her.
Wera Loca targetted the arm of Thick Momma Pump, hoping to weaken her grappling game. In the corner, Valkyrie connected with a pair of running knees. Grace kicked out of the pinfall attempt, and avoided an attack in the corner from the champion. She then pulled Valkyrie out from the corner and nearly drove her through the ring with a sit out powerbomb.
Grace finally tagged Cage back in, who leveled Impact with two clotheslines and a backbreaker/neckbreaker combo. In the corner, Impact took a clothesline, enziguri, and German suplex, but managed to kick out at two. Cage set up for the F-5. Impact raked the eyes again and connected with the Moonlight Drive.
Cage broke out of the pin, and prevented the Starship Pain. Cage tanked a springboard kick, but countered with a discus lariat. Valkryie attempted to intervene, leaving Grace to take out both Impact and Valkyrie. On the outside, Grace hit Impact with a suicide dive but was speared by Valkyrie. Cage followed up with a dive of his own, taking out Impact.
Cage set up for the Drill Claw, but the referee John E. Bravo took out his knee with a chop block. Impact stunned Cage with a knee and picked up the win after quick count.
Results: Johnny Impact & Taya Valkyrie defeated Brian Cge & Jordynne Grace.
Cage tried to get some revenge on the ref, but Valkyrie hit him with a low blow. The power couple beat him down as Bravo watched on. Bravo was the ref at Impact Wrestling Homecoming months ago, so there's no telling just how far back he was in the pocket of the champ.
