I have had many conversations with Eddie Edwards over the years and can confirm that he's one of the nicest guys in pro wrestling and one of the hardest workers in the ring as well. Somehow, putting the title on him at Slammiversary seems like taking a step back because Ace Austin would have been a great representative for the Championship in my opinion.
Or Impact Wrestling could have sent shockwaves through the professional wrestling fraternity by putting the title around EC3's waist at Slammiversary. I am just not certain that Eddie Edwards will get as many viewers back on track, despite his wealth of talent.
