As per PWInsider, Impact Wrestling (now re-branded as GFW) is set to announce the return of the Super X Cup on its July 3rd tapings.
Additionally, former ROH performer ACH was backstage and went on to participate in the tournament. Texas pro-wrestler Sammy Guevara, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Taiji Ishimori as well as Drago, who has performed for AAA, will also participate in the tournament.
Sammy Guevara has previously competed for EVOLVE and is widely regarded as one of the better prospects in the professional wrestling industry today.

Furthermore, Octagoncito was backstage at the tapings, although it isn’t clear what plans the company has for him.
