Inaugural WWE champion; former Bloodline ally- 4 potential WrestleMania matches for Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella made a surprising return to WWE television this week as part of RAW's Netflix debut. After seemingly falling off with the company in the previous years, her appearance was surely a shock to many, which has caused some to discussion about a possible in-ring return.

In 2019, Nikki Bella ended her in-ring career after discovering a cyst on her brain. Fortunately, she was medically cleared in 2022 and returned briefly for that year's Women's Royal Rumble, making it her and Brie Bella's last WWE match as they decided not to renew their contracts the following year and change their name to Nikki and Brie Garcia.

During her time away, Nikki didn't have the best things to say about the Stamford-based promotion. However, it seems like both parties have already buried the hatchet as she was recently seen this week on RAW.

With Nikki and WWE's relationship getting better, there's a possibility she might also return to the ring. For this list, we will look at four potential WWE Superstars who can be Nikki Bella's WrestleMania opponent:

#4. Inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green

Many fans agree that Chelsea Green is one of the most improved and worth-it re-signees during the Triple H era. Her entertaining character as a heel has led her to become the inaugural Women's US Champion, which might gain the intrigue of Bella.

The former superstar and Chelsea Green have a bit of similarities in their characters, both are confident and have strong on-screen personas. However, the latter is more boastful since she is a heel. It would be interesting how their dynamic will play out in WWE, they can even revisit the time when the US Champion previously played Daniel Bryan's kayfabe mistress in 2014.

#3. Tiffany Stratton was recently praised by Nikki Bella

Tiffany Stratton is one of the most impressive call-ups from NXT in 2024 following the WWE Draft. She has continuously showcased her impressive in-ring abilities and continues building her character. Last year, she became Ms. Money in the Bank before cashing in last week at Nia Jax to become the new WWE Women's Champion.

As it turns out, Nikki was one of the veterans who looked forward to meeting Tiffany and praised the younger star. A supposed WrestleMania feud between the two will be interesting to see given their difference in character and in-ring style.

The women's roster has changed a lot since The Bella Twins actively competed in WWE. While some are new faces for the Hall of Famers, there are still several names that they are familiar with and have shared the ring in the past, like Liv Morgan.

In 2018, there was a six-woman tag team match involving The Bella Twins and Liv Morgan. During Brie and Liv's time, the former accidentally kicked the latter for real, causing her to be concussed. However, everything has since been forgiven and Nikki even rooted for Morgan during her clash with Becky Lynch during Day 1 in 2022.

Still, this type of history can be something they can utilize for a feud where they can make it seem like Liv is now better and more experienced, while veterans like Nikki have been away for a while and are the ones at a disadvantage.

The woman to beat for the past few years in the Stamford-based promotion is Rhea Ripley. Although she was previously part of The Judgment Day, she also got briefly involved with The Bloodline in 2023 to form some sort of partnership between the two groups. In February 2022 while talking with TV Insider, Nikki Bella named Rhea Ripley as one of the names she wants to have a story with and said she was a huge fan of the Women's World Champion.
