#6. Nikki Bella was upset with NXT storyline
The Give Divas A Chance movement technically began with a match that included The Bella Twins. When the Women's Division of NXT started to push for the same, WWE adopted a storyline that pitted The Bellas against the NXT roster. The fact that The Bella Twins became the enemies in this feud was something that deeply upset Nikki.
To create drama and tension for fans, Triple H and his wrestlers cut promo after promo to make it appear that the women on the main roster were clinging to the title of Divas, that we were resisting the tidal wave of feminism that the women of NXT were bringing to WWE. While on the whole this storyline was great for the sport, it was a bummer to be on the other side. Nicole, in particular, was really upset.

#5. Ronda Rousey's debut "a slap in the face"
Nikki and Brie Bella were called by WWE to make their return as part of the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match. The two women made history with 28 others in a match that was then overshadowed by the debut of former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey.
Nikki touched on this in her book where she considered Rousey's debut a slap in the face and thought that WWE could have booked the show and her debut differently.
Asuka beat me and retained her winning streak, and then they made the decision to close it out by debuting Ronda Rousey. This was a little triggering for me in the moment. I unleashed a tweetstorm, which in retrospect was probably an overreaction. It was nothing against Ronda—it is thrilling that she is at WWE—but it was a bit of a slap in the face to all the historic women wrestlers who had come out for the match, the main event, only to have the moment upstaged by the Ronda announcement.
