Without any doubt, the Young Bucks are one of the most popular tag teams in the independent wrestling circuit. They have won the Tag Team Championship gold in promotions all over the world, including New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Dragon Gate USA, etc.
Recently, both of the Young Bucks are sidelined with injuries. According to PWInsider, Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks is suffering from multiple broken ribs after his match at Wednesday's Ring of Honor TV tapings from Toronto, Canada. Nick will also not be able to work in the upcoming New Japan Pro Wrestling tour that kicks off this coming week.
He has not been medically cleared to wrestle and he is scheduled to be seen by a doctor when he goes back to his hometown California tomorrow. Nick Jackson has been already replaced on the tour by former NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion, Chase Owens.
The other half of Young Bucks, Matt Jackson is also dealing with an injury as he suffers a broken hand. Although, wrestlinginc.com reports that, he has worked through yesterday’s ROH event in New York City, teaming up with Adam Cole and faced the teams of Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii, and winners Roderick Strong and ROH Champion Jay Lethal.
The Young Bucks are also the current IWGP NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Champions with Kenny Omega.
