WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H fell in love with Stephanie McMahon while working together as an on-screen couple in a storyline. They dated for a few years before tying the knot in 2003.
The Game's relationship with The Billion Dollar Princess has seen several highs and lows. The couple even confirmed that they legitimately separated a few times for different reasons before eventually ending up together.
While some rumors about Triple H and Stephanie's relationship were confirmed, others were not. Over the past 12 months, a few wrestling veterans have made wild claims and speculations about the couple's marriage. While one suggested infidelity has occurred on both sides, another claimed The Game was jealous of a former superstar being around his wife.
Check out five wild claims that were made about Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's relationship below:

#5. Triple H was allegedly jealous of ex-WWE star being around Stephanie McMahon
Chris Nowinski had a short run in WWE between 2002 and 2003. However, former Tag Team Champion Rene Dupree claimed on an episode of his Cafe de Rene podcast that Triple H was jealous of the Harvard graduate being around his wife.
The 41-year-old veteran added that The Game made it a point to bury Nowinski in front of his wife:
"Chris Nowinski. Chris Nowinski, tall, good-looking, incredibly intellgent from the northeast. He's a Boston guy as well, trained with Kowalski as well. Hunter would make it a point to like bury him in front of her," he said.
Dupree added that Triple H would jump in to ridicule the former Hardcore Champion whenever he saw him standing with The Billion Dollar Princess, stating that the current Chief Content Officer feared losing his spouse:
"Like, this one time I think they found like a tick or something in his skin. I don't know if it was a bed bug that they found like Chris got. Anyway, he had like a tick that found and, like, there's Hunter, like, because he would see, like, Stephanie talk with Nowinski or whatever and then here comes Hunter like, 'This f***ing guy has a ticking in his skin.' Like, burying him and sh*t, right? Oh yeah, there was a lot of jealousy there. That's the keys to the kingdom right there if he loses her." he added.
Nowinski retired from professional wrestling following his WWE departure in 2003. He is currently the CEO of the Concussion Legacy Foundation.
#4. Triple H allegedly cheated on Stephanie McMahon with ex-WWE Superstar
Kaitlyn became one of the most popular female superstars in WWE after joining the company in 2010. She had a 153-day reign as Divas Champion in 2013. However, she left the promotion the following year and hung up her boots.
Speaking on his podcast, former Intercontinental Champion Ryback made a wild claim about Kaitlyn. He suggested she might have signed an NDA after allegedly having an affair with Triple H during her time in WWE:
"There is a story there. There's probably an NDA there. Kaitlyn's responsibility to f***ing tell that story not mine. But I have it on close accord from people that came and told me with things that were directly involved with her that something went down between her and Hunter. And I'm not gonna be, use your f***ing brains though people with everything. And then she leaves the company almost immediately after. Do you think that's a f***ing coincidence?" Ryback said.
Despite rumors about Triple H allegedly cheating on Stephanie McMahon with Kaitlyn, the latter has made a few sporadic WWE appearances following her departure. She recently disclosed that she would be open to a Royal Rumble appearance.
#3. Triple H was rumored to have cheated on Stephanie McMahon with another ex-WWE Superstar
Kaitlyn is not the only former female WWE Superstar rumored to have had a fling with Triple H. On an episode of his Cafe de Rene podcast, former Tag Team Champion Rene Dupree recalled another rumored affair that The Game allegedly had.
Although the wrestling veteran stressed that one should believe nothing of what they hear and half of what they see in the wrestling business, he stated a rumor about the 14-time world champion having an affair with Christy Hemme during the latter's run in WWE:
"In wrestling, you believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see, right? But the locker room talked back then, the rumors in the locker room were that her and Hunter had something going on," he said.
Hemme had a short run in WWE between 2004 and 2005. Following her departure, she praised Stephanie McMahon, dubbing her a strong and warm person.
#2. Vince Russo thinks infidelity might have happened on both sides in Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's marriage
On an episode of his The Brand podcast last year, former WWE writer Vince Russo discussed Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's marriage. He claimed the two might not have been entirely faithful.
The wrestling veteran stated that he believes there was infidelity in the couple's marriage. He even pointed out that it might have been on both sides. Meanwhile, he clarified that he had no proof and what he claimed was only speculation:
"I believe there was some infidelity in the Triple H/Stephanie McMahon marriage, which may have had something to do with the heart attack story. I believe there was some infidelity. I have no proof of that, bro. It is purely speculation. However, Stephanie McMahon was walking around without a wedding ring for a long period of time while Triple H was wearing his. So, I believe there may have been some infidelity. And bro, quite frankly, there might have been some infidelity on both sides," he said.
Over the past few years, rumors suggested Stephanie and her husband have separated. However, these speculations were refuted as the couple continued to appear together at several events. They recently attended Donald Trump's New Year's Eve party inside his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.
#1. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's relationship allegedly segregated the McMahon family
Before Triple H and Stephanie McMahon got together, Vince McMahon had forbidden his daughter from dating wrestlers. Although the former WWE Chairman later changed his mind, his son, Shane McMahon, was unhappy with the rule being broken by his sister.
During an appearance on the Cafe de Rene podcast, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman claimed The Game's relationship with The Billion Dollar Princess segregated the McMahon family:
"And, again, I don't know how Shane feels about it but I'm saying that I've always felt that, and a lot of people backstage, I mean everybody talked about it because it was a thing. They were in a storyline and then it turned into a real-life love affair and they're still together to this day, so good for them. But I think that really segregated the McMahon family because Vince had to deal with it because Triple H was one of the biggest stars he had at the time and ultimately, you know, you've seen it all play out over the last 20 years," he said.
On his Netflix docu-series, Vince McMahon revealed that his son was totally against his sister's relationship with the current Chief Content Officer.
