#4 Finn Balor finally gets his hand on the gold
After an interval of almost two years, Seth Rollins finally got his hands on a singles championship in WWE when he defeated The Miz and Finn Balor in a stunning triple threat opener at 'Mania 34.
With this he became the final member of The Shield to become the coveted Grand Slam Champion.
However, if we take long-term storyline into consideration, it becomes pretty clear that Rollins was only chosen to win at 'Mania so that he could become the Grand Slam Champion.
In the long run, a feud with for the Universal Title and with the returning Dean Ambrose possibly on the cards, Rollins reign could end in Jeddah.
Scheduled to defend the title in a Fatal-4-Way Ladder match, there is almost negligible chance (until WWE swerves everyone and takes US Title off Jeff Hardy) that Rollins will lose the title to either Samoa Joe or The Miz since both of them are now part of SmackDown Live.
That leaves us with only Balor, and if we look at the long-term storyline, putting the belt on Balor is best for business.
Balor has been on a roll since his Iron Man performance at Rumble. Having him dethrone Rollins off the title will not only free The Kingslayer for his future feuds for Raw's top prize, but will also result in a fresh feud for Balor with the likes of Bobby Roode, Elias and Drew McIntyre.
Expect Rollins to drop the IC Title to Balor this Friday.
