#1 Bryan finally wins a Rumble Match
Daniel Bryan's return to in-ring action, after staying away from wrestling for almost 3 years, has been the biggest story of the first four months of 2018.
Not only did Bryan make his in-ring return with a victory over Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, he is now a full-time member of the Smackdown Live roster, beginning his second inning with a dream match with Styles.
It is very clear that, after he finishes the business with Big Cass, Bryan will feud with The Miz and then enter the WWE Title Picture.
With WWE announcing Bryan as a participant in the 50-Man Royal Rumble Match, it has become all but clear that this is how Bryan will finally begin his climb back to the top of the WWE Food Chain.
Considering that Bryan and Royal Rumble have a long history together, WWE won't take the risk of putting him in another Rumble and having him lose the match.
This will only bring back memories from 2014 and 2015, where the absence and early elimination of Bryan led to the fans turning on the eventual winners of the Rumble.
Not only will Bryan's victory provide a feel-good moment, it will finally give Bryan a well deserved Royal Rumble victory, albeit with a three-year delay.
This victory will start a new in-ring career for Daniel Bryan, with prospective dream matches against the likes of The Miz, Styles, Joe, Nakamura and Jeff Hardy guaranteed to take place in the next 12 months.
