Big E and The New Day are celebrating their 10-year anniversary in WWE. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that the December 2 episode will be dedicated to one of the greatest WWE Tag Teams ever.
WWE released a promo during the November 25 episode of Monday Night RAW, which featured only Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. This raised concerns over Big E's presence on the red brand next week.
Still, since he is not scheduled to compete, the former WWE Champion is expected to attend The New Day's 10-year anniversary. Big E will participate in backstage segments, even though WWE Creative's plans for the faction's celebration are unknown yet.
At the same time, he is expected to address the current tension between his best friends, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They have not been on the same page lately and had a heated backstage confrontation after their loss to The Alpha Academy on Monday Night RAW.
What could Big E do next week on The New Day's 10-year anniversary?
It has been nearly three years since the former World Champion last competed in WWE. A serious neck injury has sidelined him since then, but the former champion has hinted at the possibility of making his return if he is medically cleared to compete.
Considering that, The New Day's celebration could be the perfect spot to announce that he will eventually return to the ring. Amid his recovery from neck surgery, Big E has worked backstage with the company as a commentator at Premium Live Events.
The other scenario is that he will try to bring Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods back to the same page, even though the latter has been teasing a heel turn for weeks now. Should he turn on Kingston, Woods could announce his decision to leave The New Day next week, forcing the veteran wrestler to choose between his two friends.
In that scenario, the former WWE Champion could become the special guest referee if Kingston and Woods face each other on RAW or Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
