It appears that WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre is dealing with an injury and could take some time off TV to recover.
Drew McIntyre sustained an elbow injury (hyperextension) during WWE WrestleMania XL. He faced Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on Night Two of 'Mania and dethroned The Visionary. However, his win was short-lived, and after the match, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and beat McIntyre.
The Scottish Warrior posted a video on social media and confirmed the injury. However, he revealed that he has been competing through it while taking a shot at CM Punk, who is recovering from a torn triceps.
"And oh yeah, the internet is telling the truth. I've said it in interviews already, I am hurt. But I keep pusing through, because I'm not a pathetic, coward, little b**** like CM Punk," said McIntyre.

It is speculated that the injury should sideline him for the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event, Backlash, on May 4, as he is not advertised for it.
Amid rumors about his future with WWE, as his contract is expiring soon, he should be ready on time for the Clash at the Castle PLE on June 15th, which will take place in his home country of Scotland.
Drew McIntyre reacts to WWE releasing fellow superstar Jinder Mahal
Drew McIntyre took to social media and reacted to the release of fellow WWE Superstar Jinder Mahal.
Mahal was among the stars who left the company a few days ago. This was the second time he left the promotion, and The Scottish Warrior sent a message of support to his former 3MB stablemate.
"We showed them once. Now show them again, brother," McIntyre wrote on X.
The two superstars were let go by WWE in 2014 and spent a couple of years with other wrestling companies. They returned in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
As mentioned, Drew McIntyre's contract is set to expire, but it doesn't seem likely that he will leave. At the same time, he is preparing for his feud with CM Punk, which should intensify as the Best in the World is getting closer to his return to the ring after a torn triceps surgery.
After CM Punk cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, McIntyre has made it personal with Punk, thus we should expect their match to happen during one of WWE's coming PLEs.
