Logan Paul was not part of the WWE roster that visited Japan in late July 2024 for a few live events in Tokyo and Osaka (July 25-27). The Maverick appeared at SummerSlam a week later, where he lost his United States Championship to LA Knight.

Paul did not get any invitation from WWE to appear at the live events in Tokyo and Osaka and there had been speculation about his absence and whether it was related to an incident back in 2018.

That time, the former United States Champion posted a video of a dead body on YouTube that he found in the Aokigahara Forest in Mount Fuji, which is also called the "Suicide Forest." However, Paul clarified that he was allowed to enter Japan.

"I've never said this before, but my rule was that if I went back, I'd like to be invited back, and I have not gotten the invite yet. My best bet is the WWE. I'd be a real heel there," Logan Paul told Dominik Mysterio during the newest episode of his Impaulsive podcast. [56:22 - 56:38]

Back at the time, the video became viral, but after several negative comments, it was taken down by the platform.

WWE Superstar Logan Paul was disappointed after losing the United States Championship

Logan Paul has been disappointed after losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event. He has called it "crazy" that another WWE Superstar is now the champion.

The Maverick also opened up about what he did to help elevate the title's stature, even though he defended it just three times in nine months.

"I tried to take it everywhere, I always had glued it to my side and I bet people will see that like in this generation of wrestling fans people will see it and always be like that’s Logan Paul’s belt. Congratulations to LA Knight but, man, I saw him posting the picture of him with the belt, my belt, it’s just crazy to see with someone else," Logan Paul said on his podcast. [H/T TJR Wrestling]

Logan held the United States Championship for 273 days before dropping it to The Megastar at The Biggest Party of The Summer. Paul won the title back in November 2023, when he defeated Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.
