The last time Roman Reigns appeared on WWE programming was at WrestleMania 40, where he lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes. In his absence from the Stamford-based promotion, Solo Sikoa has taken command of The Bloodline forcefully and even took a dig at Reigns.
While many believe that Sikoa betrayed Reigns to become the new Tribal Chief, there is a chance Reigns is no longer favored by the elders of The Bloodline. For those unaware, when Solo Sikoa was introduced to The Bloodline, it was revealed that the elders sent him to be The Enforcer for Roman Reigns.
Hence, there is a chance that after Reigns failed to defend his family's legacy at WrestleMania 40, the elders made a collective decision to elect Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief. This potential angle also explains why Sikoa seems so confident while leading The Bloodline and taking shots at Reigns.
While the angle is speculative, there are chances of it being true. Given Sikoa's actions on SmackDown, it's hard to believe that he is making decisions on his own accord. Hence, it will be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming weeks on the blue brand.
Wrestling legend believes Roman Reigns could face WWE veteran at WrestleMania 41
Before WWE booked a match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, the promotion had an idea for a match between Reigns and The Rock. But after fans made it clear they wanted to see Cody Rhodes face Reigns, WWE granted them their wish.
However, as per wrestling legend Konnan, the WWE Universe could see a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 41. During an episode of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan discussed the possibility of this match and said:
"You can still do Rock and Roman if you wanted to in this year's WrestleMania. Cody got his story. The fans that were doing all this backlash got what they wanted. You kept them happy. And now you can still do Roman and Rock."

Due to the popularity of both superstars, a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 41 would indeed be a hit. However, before that happens, it will be interesting to see if The Rock wants to pursue Cody Rhodes instead.
