Stephanie McMahon made a surprise appearance at SummerSlam 2024, sparking curiosity among the WWE Universe about whether the lady boss is officially back in WWE. However, Triple H's comments seem to shed light on the situation. During the post-SummerSlam press conference, the CCO revealed that no official role has been assigned to Stephanie yet.
Triple H shared that his wife loves attending events at the Stamford-based promotion. He added that Stephanie enjoys watching the shows and spending time with everyone backstage. The Chief Content Officer emphasized that Stephanie's current role is enjoying watching their kids get older, and he is excited to see what the future holds for her, expecting her to be around more often.
"No official role right now. Right now, her official role is she's enjoying our kids getting too old too fast. But we'll see, we'll see what the future holds. I would expect to see her around because she loves it and she's enjoying being around it again," Triple H stated.

From this statement by the Cerebral Assassin, it seems things are heading in a positive direction regarding Stephanie McMahon's official return to WWE. However, fans might have to wait a little longer to see any concrete developments.
Previously, Stephanie had worked as an authority figure in World Wrestling Entertainment, including serving as the RAW Commissioner in a villainous role. It remains to be seen if and when Stephanie McMahon will return to an official role, and in what capacity.
This role could be the best television character for Stephanie McMahon's WWE return
If Stephanie decides to return to WWE in an official role, being the supervisory leader of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT could be the most fitting position. Currently, the red brand is under the supervision of Adam Pearce, who is performing excellently as an on-screen GM. The blue brand is led by Nick Aldis, whose strong personality is well-received by the WWE Universe. The NXT brand is managed by the legendary Shawn Michaels.
Given that all three brands have great authority figures, Stephanie McMahon returning to replace one of them wouldn't make much sense. However, the lady boss could return as the superior authority overseeing all three brand managers.
In this role, she would act as the overarching authority and monitor all three brands. Should any situation arise that the general managers cannot handle, Stephanie could step in to control things.
This would solidify her presence and could be a great way to reintroduce her to an active role on WWE television.
