The 2024 WWE SummerSlam will forever be remembered for the implosion of The Judgment Day. Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor cost Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest their respective world title matches by officially betraying them.
During last week's episode of Monday Night RAW, a new iteration of The Judgment Day was revealed. Liv Morgan and Carlito officially joined the group alongside Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh. According to WrestleVotes, there are plans in motion to rebrand the group, with a name change highly likely.
The leading candidate for the new name is "Street Trash," which might be a reference to what Gunther said before SummerSlam when he called Damian Priest and the rest of The Judgment Day "Street Trash." It was also noted that the decision for a name change is not yet final and could change at any time.
Jim Cornette hails Judgment Day member as the best-ever
Rhea Ripley has firmly established herself as one of the biggest stars in WWE over the past couple of years. She is incredibly popular with fans and possesses all the skills to back it up in the ring.
During a recent episode of his podcast, Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette reviewed the SummerSlam match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. He praised Rhea as the best talent in women's wrestling today and quite possibly the best of all time.
According to Cornette, Rhea excels on promos and stands head and shoulders above any other female in the business inside the ring.
"Rhea Ripley is the best talent, currently, in women's wrestling and maybe of all-time in women's wrestling at an in-ring level. She's very good on promos and she's really over cause in-ring she stands above any other female in the business," Cornette said.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Rhea Ripley moving forward.
