Brock Lesnar was last seen on WWE TV at SummerSlam 2023 when he suffered a defeat at the hands of Cody Rhodes. Their feud was brief, but it consisted of three matches, each more brutal than its predecessor. However, The Beast went off-script after his defeat and raised The American Nightmare's hand in the air, making it the moment of the event!

Lesnar was supposed to return at Royal Rumble 2024, but his alleged inclusion in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon made it a tricky situation. When the news surfaced, WWE halted every creative plan involving Lesnar and replaced him with the likes of Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn. However, when Triple H was asked if Lesnar and WWE had parted ways for good, The Game revealed that Brock Lesnar was still a part of the company, and when he wanted to return, WWE and the multi-time champion could have a conversation.

Now, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has given insight into the matter, claiming that Triple H's comment regarding The Beast is a public answer. The truth is that WWE Legal needs to clear Brock Lesnar before The Beast can return, and it does not depend on when Lesnar wants to come back. In fact, WWE had put months of effort into creating scripts for The Beast before pulling him from WWE TV.

"There were detailed scripted plans for him for months and it was WWE legal who pulled him. That has not changed. The situation right now is that there were reasons having to do with what was in the Grant lawsuit that WWE legal felt it was not good to have Lesnar on television. When that belief changes, Lesnar will be back and on television. It’s not his decision to decide to come back, it is their decision on if they want him back and when. . ."

Dave Meltzer additionally revealed that pulling Brock Lesnar from the men's Royal Rumble match was a last-minute decision. Hence, Breakker just replaced Lesnar, but no other plans were modified, such as the superstars Breakker would eliminate or who would eliminate Breakker. The script went forward the way it was originally planned for Brock Lesnar.

Wrestling veteran reveals how Brock Lesnar can make SummerSlam 2024 massive

The Beast's former rival, Cody Rhodes, will battle Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam 2024. The other members of The Bloodline will definitely be ringside to ensure The Enforcer secures the victory.

Now, veteran Jim Cornette has suggested that among everything else, if Brock Lesnar is the one who returns at SummerSlam to save Cody Rhodes, it would be absolutely massive. In fact, it might be bigger than Roman Reigns returning at SummerSlam to help The American Nightmare!

Currently, there is no given date for The Beast's return and it doesn't seem as though he will step back in the squared circle before the lawsuit is settled.
