The Undertaker's character is one of the most recognizable to wrestling fans and mainstream audiences alike. Although his look has mainly remained unchanged, there has been a noticeable change in his hair from past to present. Interestingly, a current star considered using Taker's 1998 look as inspiration.

The Undertaker debuted in WWE in 1990 with his notable dark character. He mainly wore a fedora and a long, black coat. He retained this similar gear for decades. However, his long, dark hair was cut during the later parts of his career. For Karrion Kross, who currently has short hair, he thought about growing it like the Hall of Famer.

Kross revealed to Chris Van Vliet that he wanted to grow his hair similar to The Undertaker's length in 1998. With this in mind, it should be noted that this doesn't necessarily mean WWE planned to make him the new Deadman. However, there are some similar gimmicks between both men and their characters.

Kross and Taker both portray feared and complex characters. The former leans more on the cunning and vicious side, while the latter exudes darkness and is more reserved.

Interestingly, a fan theory also pointed out how Kross's rivals have changed character after facing him.

Nobody can duplicate The Deadman, but many fans noted the similarities he shared with Bray Wyatt. Both men portrayed "monsters" and were particularly known for their supernatural gimmicks. At RAW is XXX, The Hall of Famer even "passed the torch" to Wyatt.

Unfortunately, the wrestling world was taken aback after Wyatt's unexpected passed. Kross recently revealed that prior to the tragic passing, they had plans to work at WrestleMania. Karrion even noted that Bo Dallas, Alexa Bliss, and Scarlett were part of the discussions.

What happened at The Undertaker's latest WWE appearance?

The Phenom retired from in-ring competition and hung up his Deadman persona. His recent return saw him as the American Badass, which was on display for the October 10, 2023, edition of NXT. Taker got physical with Bron Breakker and shared a moment with Carmelo Hayes.
