Hikuleo has reportedly signed with WWE, but his exact debut date remains unknown. He is expected to join The Bloodline upon his debut under the name 'Talla Tonga'.

The former NJPW star had shown interest in signing with WWE in 2023 as well but ended up renewing his contract with the Japan-based promotion. The 33-year-old's signing with the company marks the onboarding of another generational wrestling star. However, Hikuleo is not related to Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa, or even from the Anoa'i Family.

The Tongan Giant and Tama Tonga are brothers. They were adopted by wrestling star Haku (husband of their maternal aunt Dorothy Koloamatangi), and were raised in the United States. Haku's biological son is Tonga Loa, who is currently signed with WWE and works with The Bloodline.

Despite not being blood relatives, The Tongan Family and The Anoa'i Family have the utmost respect for one other and are bonded like a huge family. Roman Reigns' cousin, Lance Anoa'i, explained how the connection was formed between the families.

"Not by blood. We consider him, every time I see Haku, he’s my uncle, lot of respect for…I believe it’s just more like the island culture. We’re all from the South Pacific, so the islanders just stick together, man. It’s just one breed."

Considering Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are working with The Bloodline and Solo Sikoa, it is possible Hikuleo (to be known as 'Talla Tonga') will also be inserted into the same storyline.

Hikuleo was a dominant star in New Japan Pro-Wrestling

The Tongan Giant was born on February 7th, 1991, and has pro-wrestling blood in his veins. However, before joining the industry, he majored in sports management and played basketball for the Webber International Warriors. He went to Japan in 2016 and debuted under the name Hikuleo.

He went on to secure the Strong Openweight Championship, the Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship twice and also won the IWGP Tag Team Championship. He was also a part of the Bullet Club, which is possibly the most famous non-WWE faction.

Given his dominant in-ring style, he will be an excellent addition to The Bloodline story. However, Hikuleo might not end up joining Solo Sikoa's Bloodline faction after all.

So, Solo Sikoa is from the Anoa'i Family but is working with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa from The Tongan Community and Jacob Fatu from the Anoa'i Family. On the other hand, Roman Reigns and The Usos can reunite against the new Bloodline and have 'Talla Tonga' join them.

This way, The Bloodline Saga will not just be about family vs. family for The Anoa'i Family but also for The Tongans, giving the storyline another layer.
