Jade Cargill is an American professional wrestler with Jamaican descent. She is currently signed with WWE and is yet to make her television debut. She played basketball during her high school and college days. Cargill participated in WWE Tryout in 2019 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and simultaneously was trained at WWA4 Academy. Cargill was trained at various training centers by some of the veterans of the wrestling industry. However she credits Mark Henry as her mentor.
In late 2020, Cargill made her professional wrestling debut at All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in an episode of Dynamite, by interrupting Cody Rhodes and teased the arrival of Veteran Basketball Player shaquille O’Neal. Tony Khan the following day announced that Jade Cargill signed a multi-year contract with the company. She made her in-ring debut by teaming up with Shaq and won against Cody and Red Velvet. Her singles debut was against Dani Jordyn, which she won.
In November 2021, Cargill participated in AEW TBS Championship Tournament to determine the inaugural AEW TBS Champion. Cargill defeated Red Velvet in the quarterfinals, Thunder Rosa in the semifinals and Ruby Soho in the finals to become the first-ever AEW TBS Champion. Cargill successfully defended her championships on numerous occasions and simultaneously maintained an undefeated streak for 60 matches straight. She held the championship for 508 days and lost the championship to Kris Statlander to end the streak. She failed to capture that title on the championship rematch and in account to the expiring contract she left AEW.
After Cargill left AEW, there were multiple rumors on Cargill joining WWE, the company confirmed about her contracts. She visited the WWE Performance Center between September 18 - 22 and is currently training at the performance Center. Cargill is the second member to jump from AEW to WWE and is the first signing by the TKO Group holdings.
