WWE Superstar Jade Cargill has been out of commission since November 2024 because of a violent ambush in the parking lot during an episode of SmackDown. So far, The Storm’s attacker is still shrouded in mystery. However, a recent development suggests she will soon return and expose four-time WWE champion Naomi as her attacker.

The Glow is a very close friend of both Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. She is a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion and a two-time Women's Tag Team Champion. The Storm has praised Naomi several times and also made her WrestleMania debut last year alongside her and Belair in a six-woman tag team match against Damage CTRL. After Cargill was ambushed, Naomi stepped up to help The EST defend the Women’s Tag Team Championship against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae last month on the blue brand.

However, there’s a possibility that the two-time WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion could be the one behind Cargill’s current condition. The Glow has benefited the most from The Storm’s absence.

She now shares the tag title with Bianca Belair despite not contesting to earn the gold. Moreover, Naomi has now earned another shot at Nia Jax's title after she pinned the reigning WWE Women's Champion during a six-woman tag team match last week on SmackDown. The 37-year-old could have been harboring animosity towards Jade Cargill for months for getting more importance despite being the newest member of the roster and might have laid The Storm out last November.

Jade has yet to reveal the name of the person who attacked her, but she has sent cryptic messages by uploading a couple of captionless pictures on Instagram in recent weeks, with her laced with blood. Jade Cargill sees Naomi as a mother figure in the women’s division

The relationship between Jade Cargill and Noami extends beyond just being peers and work friends. In an interview with Casual Conversations with The Classic in August 2024, The Storm said The Glow is like a "mother" to all wrestlers in the women’s locker room.

She highlighted that the two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion never shies away from helping her out and has even stayed up as late as 3:00 a.m. with her on some occasions. Jade Cargill also said that she reaches out to Naomi for advice on personal matters as well.
