Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the returning Seth Rollins at the Money in the Bank. The Premium Live Event will take place in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday, July 6.
In between, he continues to deal with internal issues within The Judgment Day amid Rhea Ripley's absence. The latter has been out with a shoulder injury, but she is expected to return in the coming weeks.
On the June 17 episode of Monday Night RAW, there was a segment between the Judgment Day members where Balor said he would win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and cash in on Priest.
The reigning champion didn't like that, but Balor said he was joking. Yet, how likely is it for Balor to turn on his Judgment Day partner at Money in the Bank?
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
If Liv Morgan helps Finn Balor, he could cost Damian Priest the title at MITB
Liv Morgan has been actively involved in The Judgment Day's business lately, trying to lure Balor and Dominik Mysterio away from the faction as part of her feud with Rhea Ripley.
We have seen the reigning Women's World Champion secretly meet Finn Balor, while the latter took her hotel room key last week.
With that in mind, the two could work together and interfere in Priest and Rollins's title match, costing Damian the title.
There was some tension between Finn Balor and Damian Priest on RAW
As noted, the two superstars had a segment on RAW where Finn Balor claimed he would defeat Rey Mysterio and Jey Uso to become the new Mr. Money in the Bank.
Once this happened, he told Priest he would cash in on him. Even though Balor quickly tried to play it down, there appears to be some tension between the two as The Judgment Day continues to deal with internal issues.
However, as things continue to be intense, it is likely that Balor, who lost the MITB Qualifying Match eventually, will turn on Damian Priest and start a feud with his partner.
Finn Balor needs a new direction
Finn Balor appears to have stuck as the third-best member of The Judgment Day behind Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, but this could change soon. Thus, we expect Finn Balor to eventually betray Damian Priest and cost him the title.
That way, he will leave The Judgment Day and find a new storyline that will allow him to return to the title picture and find a new direction.
In addition, it could lead to new angles in the storyline between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan should he side with the latter once he leaves The Judgment Day.
