Jey Uso to dethrone 40-year-old WWE star after SummerSlam to win his first singles title? Exploring the potential 

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn teamed up ahead of SummerSlam 2024 to take on World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on WWE RAW in a non-title match. Uso and Zayn came together as a team after The Judgment Day ambushed The Yeet Master backstage.

Jey Uso does not have a match at the upcoming premium live event, but that doesn't mean he can't be present. Since The Judgment Day lost to the babyfaces, they might try to cost Zayn the Intercontinental Title on August 3. This is when Main Event Jey can help the Canadian fend off the heel faction. Their friendship can keep Zayn safe from Breakker and eventually lead to a championship match.

As a token of appreciation, Sami Zayn can offer Jey Uso a title shot on Monday Night RAW. Main Event Jey has yet to win a singles championship. Hence, the creative team can book him to secure the gold before he potentially rejoins the Bloodline saga.

Jey Uso can finally have a singles championship victory to his name and enjoy a brief reign on WWE RAW before losing the gold to the 40-year-old or Bron Breakker. Once he loses the title, The Yeet Master can return to WWE SmackDown to help Roman Reigns deal with Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline.

If Uso loses the title to Bron Breakker, both Sami Zayn and Jey Uso can move to SmackDown post-SummerSlam to reunite with Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso's story can come full circle at SummerSlam 2024

The Tribal Chief and Main Event Jey battled in Tribal Combat at SummerSlam 2023. Jey Uso had almost won before Jimmy Uso interfered and pulled him out of the ring. The Yeet Master ultimately left WWE SmackDown and moved to WWE RAW.

Roman Reigns is rumored to return at this year's edition of the premium live event. If Jey Uso is already present at the arena, he can show up at ringside to see how the action unfolds or even participate in it if he feels The Head of the Table is a changed man.

If the duo works together at The Biggest Party of the Summer, it will mark the beginning of their reunion in WWE. While the company might not shift Jey Uso to SmackDown immediately, SummerSlam can be where the company lays the foundation.
