WWE Superstar Jey Uso was ambushed backstage by a mystery attacker on this week’s episode of RAW. So far, The Yeet Master hasn’t revealed the identity of the person who jumped him. However, there’s a chance that the assailant could be OG Bloodline member, Sami Zayn. Moreover, Mr. Yeet could expose him on the next episode of the red brand and have him kicked out.
Sami Zayn appeared very agitated over who'd attacked Jey Uso. Speaking to Adam Pearce, he thought that Seth Rollins was the man who was responsible and went out to the ring to punish him for it. However, the former four-time Intercontinental Champion could also be the man who attacked The YEET Master.
While Zayn has shown his loyalty to Roman Reigns, he never explained his reason for hanging out with Solo Sikoa ahead of Crown Jewel. Moreover, while the former El Generico had already joined hands with the OTC in Riyadh, Sikoa still insisted that Zayn was his fifth man for WarGames.

Now, when Sami Zayn has gained everyone’s trust, he could be acting on Solo’s behalf and taking the OG Bloodline out from within. While this is a possible direction the storyline could take, all of this is speculation so far.
Sami Zayn could’ve attacked Jey Uso to appease Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins has made it clear that he will never join hands with Roman Reigns under any circumstance. Last week on RAW, The Revolutionary demanded Zayn’s reason for sticking up for Reigns despite having been wronged by the latter. He said that while Jey Uso was family, Zayn had no excuse for standing in the OTC’s corner.
The Architect also alleged that Zayn standing with the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was like turning away from the friendship Rollins and Zayn shared. This made The Underdog From The Underground demand an in-ring confrontation. Shortly after, Jey Uso was attacked backstage.
Sami Zayn fought Rollins very agitatedly and was also about to bring down a steel chair on him. However, he later tossed it out, and the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion rolled him up for a win. Notably, neither of the two stars landed their finishers on each other. Thus, there’s a possibility that the fight was just theatrics on Zayn’s part to keep suspicion off him.
Lastly, Zayn was attacked by a returning Drew McIntyre, who is CM Punk’s sworn enemy and had secured a win against The Best In The World at SummerSlam, when Rollins was the special guest referee. It will be interesting to see if the Scottish Warrior, The Visionary, and Sami Zayn are actually working together to form a front against Roman Reigns on the RAW brand.
If the above comes to fruition, then a lot of what played out on the red brand could just have been theatrics. And, there is a fair chance that Sami Zayn was the man who ambushed Jey Uso backstage.
