WWE fans eagerly anticipate Jimmy Uso's return, with the Bloodline storyline heating up on SmackDown. Roman Reigns has gone to war with Solo Sikoa and could soon call out for the new self-appointed Tribal Chief.

However, Jimmy might not come alone when he does reappear on WWE TV. He could be flanked by his father, Rikishi, who could act as his new manager, and Paul Heyman is seemingly out of the equation.

Rikishi hasn't appeared full-time in the promotion for several years, making sporadic appearances since retiring from in-ring competition. The Hall of Famer has constantly given his take on the product and the ongoing Bloodline storyline.

The former eight-time tag team champion is reportedly lined up for a big return at Bad Blood this Saturday (October 5). Rikishi could further shock fans by joining his son as he imposes himself on the tag match between Reigns and Cody Rhodes versus Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Jimmy Uso was given a somewhat silly gimmick before he was written off TV. Tama Tonga debuted as a new member of the Bloodline and destroyed him with Sikoa.

Fans were in hysterics watching Jimmy make silly decisions and try to impress his Tribal Chief Reigns. He may feel that getting his father by his side will allow him to flourish, whether or not that means reuniting with the OTC.

Rikishi gave a concerning update on Jimmy Uso amid WWE absence

Jimmy Uso's absence from WWE was due to an undisclosed injury he's been rehabbing since post-WrestleMania XL. That means he's been off TV since April, and many are pondering what's taking him so long to return.

Rikishi recently gave an update on Jimmy with a post on X/Twitter, which raised concerns among the WWE Universe.

"Dear GOD for strength & health to continue #JimmyUso #wwe #Bloodline #Anoai #Fatu. Stay prayed for my boy #JonathanFatu," wrote Rikishi.

Whether this was done in the storyline remains to be seen. Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp claims those he's spoken to in the company say the 39-year-old is fine.

Jimmy Uso had been feuding with his twin brother, Jey Uso, before taking his leave of absence. He lost in a brother-versus-brother match at Mania, which led to Solo Sikoa punishing him as the new de facto Head of the Table.

A return to help Roman Reigns in his ongoing war with Bloodline 2.0 makes the most sense for Jimmy. He'll want to get revenge on Sikoa and Tama Tonga for their attack on him.
