In the late 1960s, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon graduated from East Carolina University with a business degree. He then worked as a ring announcer and color commentator in his father's pro wrestling promotion World Wide Wrestling Federation.
In 1979, McMahon founded his own company, Titan Sports. Three years later, he bought his father's company Capitol Wrestling Corporation and merged it with his own to become the Chairman of WWE. He has been running the company for nearly four decades now.

WWE has expanded drastically under McMahon's leadership. It is now the world's biggest pro-wrestling promotion. In addition to his corporate position, McMahon also became an on-screen talent. Over the years, he feuded with many wrestling legends, including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and The Rock.
In addition to his investments in pro wrestling, McMahon has invested in other fields. Four years ago, he established and personally funded a separate entity from WWE, Alpha Entertainment. The Chairman's new company is a private enterprise exploring new ventures in the sports and entertainment arenas.
Vince McMahon came in at number 1517 on Forbes' Billionaires list: The Richest in 2021 with a net worth of 2.1 billion dollars. Nevertheless, according to Forbes' Real-Time Billionaires list, McMahon's net worth recently decreased to 1.9 billion dollars. This still makes him the richest WWE Superstar today.
