Cena working towards being the next Rock

We had reported about Vince Mcmahon being a fan of John Cena’s performance in the upcoming Judd Apatow movie ‘Trainwreck’ that released last weekend. The reports since then indicate John Cena taking more movie auditions while shopping for a non-WWE independent reality show.

The belief is that while Cena always is vocal about WWE being his top priority, Vince realizes that he may have another Rock on his hands if Cena continues to be successful in Hollywood like Dwayne. The reports indicate Cena and his team working towards creating more opportunities for John in the future, not because he is going to retire anytime soon. Cena could also go the ‘Brock route’ by creating leverage due to outside opportunities.
