John Cena is an American professional wrestler, actor, and philanthropist. He first rose to fame as a professional wrestler in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) before achieving success as an actor in Hollywood. By February 2025, John Cena has stepped into the Elimination Chamber on seven occasions, emerging victorious in three. He has been responsible for eliminating five opponents across these appearances.
New Year’s Revolution: Elimination Chamber Match (2006)
John Cena entered his first Elimination Chamber match as WWE Champion and retained the title by eliminating Carlito. After the match, Edge cashed in the Money in the Bank contract and defeated Cena to become the new WWE Champion.
Elimination Chamber (2010)
John Cena competed in his second Chamber match for the WWE Championship at the first-ever Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in 2010. Defending champion Sheamus started the match and was the fourth participant eliminated when Cena pinned him. In the final moments of the match, Cena locked in the STF on Triple H, forcing him to tap out and securing the WWE Championship.
Elimination Chamber (2011)
The following year, John Cena once again stepped into the Elimination Chamber Match against five other superstars, including CM Punk, John Morrison, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and R-Truth. He won the match by eliminating Punk and earned the opportunity to challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXVII.
