John Cena is beginning his retirement tour in January 2025 and has been confirmed for WWE RAW's debut on Netflix on January 6th, 2025. The Champ has announced that next year will mark the final chapter of his in-ring career with the Stamford-based promotion.

WWE fans have taken note of this and have expressed that John Cena should break the record and become a 17-time World Champion. However, The Leader of Cenation also has the chance to become a Grand Slam Champion in 2025. To become one, he needs to get his hands on the Intercontinental Championship.

Current champion Bron Breakker is a true force of nature. Several superstars have failed to dethrone The Dog, and he is becoming more dominant with each passing week. So, to show him that he isn't the alpha of the locker room, The Champ can start a feud with him upon returning to WWE TV in January 2025.

A feud against John Cena will help Bron Breakker establish himself further and set him on the path to a World Championship. On the other hand, The Champ will be able to tick the Intercontinental Championship off his bucket list.

Furthermore, Bron Breakker has already openly challenged John Cena to a match with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. This match can be set up at Saturday Night's Main Event on January 25, 2025.

John Cena could be eyeing the Undisputed WWE Championship

At Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14th, 2024, Triple H allowed Cody Rhodes to use the 'Winged Eagle' championship belt for one night only. Given that The American Nightmare rallied behind WWE to bring it back to prominence, he was thrilled to have it for only one night.

Cena took to social media to upload a photograph of the 'Winged Eagle' belt without any caption or context. However, it is possible that he is showcasing his wish to pursue the Undisputed WWE Championship to become a 17-time World Champion!

WWE is yet to confirm The Champ's first feud once he returns in 2025.
