Dominik Mysterio came up short against Gunther last week on WWE RAW and was then berated by Finn Balor for this loss. The former Universal Champion belittled Mysterio this week on RAW in front of Gunther, as the 43-year-old built up to his match at Saturday Night's Main Event.
It's already been rumored that Balor is set for a singles push in 2025, and it seems that the way for him to get there is by turning The Judgment Day on him. The Prince has tried to thrust himself into the leadership position after Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were kicked out of the group. This seems to have made him more enemies than friends.
It's likely that Mysterio is waiting for the opportune moment to exact his revenge. This could happen this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event, with The Latino Cheat potentially costing Finn the Triple Threat World Heavyweight Title match.
This may lead to the implosion of The Judgment Day because Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will likely take Dominik Mysterio's side. JD McDonagh might align with Finn Balor because the duo currently holds the World Tag Team Championship, and Carlito could then be stuck in the middle.
However, this is speculative at this point.
Dominik Mysterio may already know his destination in WWE's Transfer Window
Dominik Mysterio was seen speaking to Nick Aldis on last week's SmackDown. The conversation may have been about a potential move to the blue brand via WWE's Transfer Window, and this may be the reason for his possible actions at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Dirty Dom could cost Balor the match this Saturday and then flee to SmackDown in the same way he once avoided his father. Now that Rey Mysterio is on RAW, it will make perfect sense for Dominik to switch brands.
However, it's unclear if Liv Morgan will go with him because of her Women's World Championship, which is currently exclusive to RAW.
