Legendary wrestling manager Jim Cornette does not think it was necessary for Seth Rollins to take a bump on a crash pad at WWE Fastlane.

The Visionary successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing Match at the Premium Live Event in Indianapolis last week. During the bout, he was thrown off the bleachers by The King of Strong Style and landed on a platform that was set up near the stage.

Speaking on the latest edition of the Jim Cornette Experience, the WWE veteran bashed the company for using a crash pad at the event and Seth Rollins for taking a bump onto it. He also pointed out how they kept on showing the pad on camera to make it obvious that it was a crash pad.

"They set up a crash pad so he could take a bump off the bleachers. They fight back to the back of the arena and up the stairs into the bleachers and get on the...and they're showing you the crash pad on camera. And what else would it be? They've got a cloth over the top of it and black draping around the edge of it but it's a completely open 12x12 foot surface two feet off the ground with nothing sitting on it," Cornette said. He went on:

"That is not at a place where it can be used as a stage, has no equipment sitting on it and coinkidinkly, they fight to the exact location when Seth gets knocked off the fu****g bleachers, he falls on it and bounces. What was that supposed to be Bryan besides a crash pad? It...was on camera more than go****n the wrestlers were... they wouldn't get it out of the shot, the only thing when he landed on it they had the cameras set just so that he would, you would see his body bounce but not what he landed on, then he rolled off, then they got the shot of him on the floor, but while they are shooting him on the floor, he's laying next to a crash pad. Just don't take the bump. You've taken other bumps through s**t, you don't need to take an extra bump, especially on a crash pad." [8:29 - 9:30]
