Karrion Kross made headlines back in 2019 when he called out Dave Bautista at Josh Barnett's Bloodsports 2 after his match against Nick Gage. Kross finally broke his silence in an interview with Chris Van Vliet to address the situation where he referenced the 6-time World Champion.
The Herald of Doomsday clarified that he did not have any animosity with Dave Bautista and that he only wanted to have a match with The Animal. Following his bout against Nick Gage that night, Kross summoned Batista, asking him to come out of retirement for a match against him.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, the 32-year-old revealed the exact reason behind him calling out the Hollywood star. Kross said that he was informed prior to his match that Dave Bautista was in the same building where Bloodsports 2 was taking place due to his film's shoot.
As a result, he called out the Hollywood star in the little hope that Batista would listen to him and confront him, as they were in the same building. Furthermore, Karrion Kross felt that the former World Champion would love to come out of retirement to wrestle again.

So there is no real-life animosity between the stars, as the 28-year-old only intended to share the ring with the future Hall of Famer. Although that never came to fruition, Kross' segment at Bloodsports 2 will always be iconic.
Karrion Kross was penciled in to have a program with Bray Wyatt
Recently, while speaking with Chris Van Vliet, the former NXT Champion made some astounding revelations, which left fans flummoxed. He stated that WWE had several creative plans for a program between Karrion Kross and Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39.
Kross added that very few people internally were aware of it, including a few writers. Moreover, the star revealed that both discussed the creative plans for hours. They had long conversation about how to materialize the ideas into the storyline for this year's Mania.
Karrion Kross also revealed that the storyline would have involved Alexa Bliss, Bo Dallas and Scarlett Bordeaux. WWE seemingly had huge plans for both superstars at The Showcase of The Immortals.
However, that never came to fruition, as Bray Wyatt went off WWE programming during the WrestleMania season in March due to his health issues. When the wrestling world was waiting for his WWE return, the tragic news of Wyatt's unexpected passing rocked the wrestling world to its core.
