Karrion Kross' plotting may have succeeded as he looks to make the Final Testament WWE's top stable. The former NXT Champion has seemingly tried to add high-profile names to the faction.
The Miz appeared alongside Kross at ringside on WWE RAW tonight (October 22). He stayed and watched the Authors of Pain lose to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in a World Tag Team Title tournament first-round match.
R-Truth attacked Miz, although Kingston won with a rollup, and the New Day took to the ramp. This left Truth stranded and outnumbered in a beatdown from the Final Testament and his former tag partner.
Uncle Howdy's Wyatt Six interrupted, but Miz's appearance is perhaps the segment's biggest twist. The Awesome One shockingly turned on Truth earlier this month to end their second run together as The Awesome Truth.
Karrion Kross has continuously spoken to Miz in backstage segments and may have turned his head. He might have also enticed the former two-time WWE Champion to join the Final Testament.
The Miz has yet to clarify his position with the group, but his decision to side with Kross tonight speaks volumes. His heel turn was desperately needed, and fans could be in for an interesting ride.
It might also be the perfect opportunity for Kross to get notoriety alongside someone of Miz's caliber. There aren't many more proven success stories than the former MTV star who went on to headline WrestleMania.
Karrion Kross should further rebuild the Final Testament with more renowned WWE stars
Karrion Kross shouldn't stop with the Miz as a sole addition to the Final Testament. If he wants the faction to thrive, he should look to similarly high-profile names struggling for prominence on WWE RAW as a babyface.
Pete Dunne could be an option, given the Brit just lost a feud against longtime friend turned rival Sheamus. He's yet to flourish on the main roster after finding success in NXT.
Kross could promise Dunne a chance to become a singles champion once the faction rules WWE. If he adds Miz's wisdom to the mix, he would have a group brimming with two powerhouses, an icon, and a Bruiserweight.
The Final Testament was formed in January 2024 after weeks of teases with vignettes. The Authors of Pain returned alongside Paul Ellering (their manager) to join forces with Kross and his manager/partner Scarlett Bordeaux. They haven't been booked strongly, but Miz's potential addition might change things.
