Kevin Nash on his acting career, a possible WWE return, and The Undertaker

Kevin Nash speaks up on a WWE return

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash opened up, as he discussed Hulk Hogan, WCW, his career in acting and more on his interview with Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard site. Below are the excerpts from the interview:

Focusing on his acting career:

Nash talked about making every role his own and said, “I have heard so many people talk about the key to acting. As far as I am concerned, when I get into the character, I can do everything with it morning, noon and night. For example, Engleheart in ‘The Longest Yard’. Identifying the character is the main thing.”

He added, “I have been successful as a wrestler, and acting is another field where I am confident of establishing myself. You should not move away from reality and always keep in mind that a character actor is what you are just going to be. There is a lot of work to be done, even if you don’t be the lead, or you are not doing romantic comedies.”

On still being amazed by the Undertaker:

“There’s a reason why, right now, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson are out touring. People want the drama. When guys are kicking out of 450-f—— moon saults on one-and-a-half, what’s the false finish? There are so few storytellers left, but ‘Taker can go out there and tell a story, “ said Nash by giving Taker props for his legendary ability.

One more WWE run:

Nash has his eyes firmly set on one final run in the WWE and said, “I have one more run. I’m started to get things fixed. I’m getting my shoulder fixed, I’m getting my neck fixed. I miss it, so never say never,”

Nagging injuries have hindered his career and a possible return, yet he seems to be really up to the task in getting fit and ready for another credible stint inside a WWE ring.
