For almost the last 4 years in WWE, Kevin Owens has been at odds with various iterations of The Bloodline, most notably when Roman Reigns led the group as champion. Since Reigns has taken a leave of absence after losing his title at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa has since taken over the group and has declared himself as the new Tribal Chief.

While some superstars are running and hiding from the new-look bloodline, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton have faced the group head-on. But with Solo having recently added Jacob Fatu to the group along with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, Orton and Owens are very much outnumbered.

One person that Owens may look to enlist for some help could be someone who knows Solo and The Bloodline very well, is his longtime friend Sami Zayn. As the former Honorary Uce in The Bloodline, Zayn got up close and personal with the Anoa'i family as he became a key part of the faction in 2022 and early 2023.

After leaving the group, Sami and Kevin looked to take down the faction as a tag team and while they did end The Usos' reign as Tag Team Champions, the faction has since evolved and has seemingly become more dangerous than ever before.

Sami Zayn on his and Kevin Owens' WWE Tag Team title reign

At WrestleMania 39, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships in what was the main event of night 1.

The pair would hold the WWE Tag Team titles for 153 days, during a recent interview with the Daily Mail Sami looked back on his and Kevin's time with the belts:

"In some respects, there were some things that I had pitched or things creatively that I thought we could have done, or even fun things, because we have a fun kind of relationship as friends. There were some things I would have loved to have done, but I think our actual reign, I don’t really have much negative to say about it, other than maybe the lack of diversity in opponents because we were really joined at the hip with Judgment Day."

The longtime friends would go on to lose the titles to The Judgment Day before both titles would be split further down the line at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.
