
Kevin Owens is a Canadian professional wrestler performing in WWE as of February 2025. Born Kevin Yanick Steen, Owens was 16 years old when he started his wrestling career in 2000. Before signing with WWE, in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Ring of Honor (ROH), he captured numerous championships, including the ROH World Championship. In 2014, Owens signed with WWE, joining their developmental branch NXT. He quickly rose through the ranks and debuted on the main roster in 2015, defeating John Cena in his first match. As of March 2025, Owens competes as a top heel superstar on the SmackDown brand.
