Kofi Kingston injury update

It was earlier reported from the SmackDown tapings that Kofi Kingston would be missing from action for around eight weeks following an elbow injury. WWE covered up the injury angle cleverly after claiming that the former was injured after being manhandled by Ryback, who put him through a table.

However, news is out that Kingston is scheduled to face United States champion Dean Ambrose at WWE live events in Australia at the end of July. This means that Kingston will get back to action earlier than what was expected following the injury lay-off.

Kingston made a promising start to his WWE career, but has remained a mid-carder as of late. A return with a new feud would certainly aid his cause.
