At WWE Money in the Bank, fan-favorite LA Knight once again suffered disappointment as he failed to climb the ladder and win the MITB briefcase. This loss Knight suffered at the Premium Live Event is one of the many disappointments he has faced in clutch situations.
However, the real question is that after a crushing loss in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, what's next for Knight in his WWE career? In this article, we will look at three possible directions The Megastar can go in the near future.
#3. LA Knight could take a sabbatical
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
From facing defeat in last year's MITB Ladder Match to facing defeat this year as well, Knight experienced many setbacks in between. Every time Knight has challenged for a title, he has fallen short. This is one reason why he could consider taking a sabbatical from WWE.
By taking a break, Knight will be able to analyze what's going wrong for him in clutch situations, and he will be able to rectify the same. Otherwise, it could be unlikely to see Knight winning something big in the Stamford-based promotion. Hence, a sabbatical to rethink his career in WWE could be on the cards.
#2. Challenge for the United States Championship
Logan Paul is one name on the list of people LA Knight doesn't like. Therefore, he could use this opportunity to challenge Paul and win the United States Championship. Currently, Paul is not scheduled to defend his US title, and this makes Knight a good candidate.
On the upcoming episode of SmackDown, The Mega Star could ask Nick Aldis for a shot at the United States Championship and the SmackDown GM could book a potential title match at WWE SummerSlam. It will be interesting to see if something along these lines takes place at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
#1. Move to RAW
From failing to win the Money in the Bank on two occasions to unsuccessfully challenging for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, it seems like LA Knight is not having a memorable time on SmackDown. This is one reason he could consider leaving the blue brand and moving to RAW.
On the red brand, LA Knight will be able to forge new rivalries and challenge for new titles like the World Heavyweight Championship and the Intercontinental Championship. For all one knows, Knight could probably win his first World Title on the red brand. It will be interesting to see if a move to Monday Night RAW is on the cards for the 41-year-old.
