#3 NXT North American Championship: Keith Lee (c.) vs. Johnny Gargano

Keith Lee and Johnny Gargano are two of NXT's most talented in-ring stars.

Johnny Gargano surprisingly turned heel when he cost Tommaso Ciampa in an NXT Championship match with Adam Cole after he had previously lost to Finn Balor that night. He got a victory over Tommaso Ciampa a couple of months ago after Candice LeRae had interfered in the match.

After scoring a cheap victory over the dominant Dominik Dijakovic, he and his wife set their sights on NXT North American Champion Keith Lee, and Mia Yim. The Bonnie and Clyde of NXT managed to get a lucky victory over Mia Yim and Keith Lee in a mixed tag team match after Johnny Gargano stabbed Keith Lee in the eyes with his car keys and Candice LeRae rolled up Mia Yim. Johnny Gargano then kicked the stairs into Keith Lee's hand after the match.

While Keith Lee has been great as North American Champion, there are not many other superstars for him to face except for maybe Timothy Thatcher. Therefore, it is time for him to lose that title and move into the NXT Championship picture. Johnny Gargano has been great in his new role, so he will likely be given the belt as there is not much else for him to do.
