#2 NXT Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair (c.) vs. Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley

Both Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley have faced Charlotte Flair in singles matches.

Charlotte Flair controversially defeated Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36. Io Shirai earned an opportunity against her by defeating Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Dakota Kai, Mia Yim, and Tegan Nox in a ladder match on NXT. The Genius of the Skies was well on her way to winning the title before Charlotte Flair got herself disqualified by using a kendo stick.

Rhea Ripley made her return after the match to confront Charlotte Flair for the first time since WrestleMania 36. The two potential challengers had a match on NXT a couple of weeks later that ended in a no-contest after The Queen interfered in the match. A triple threat match between the three was then announced for NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

While all three women would be great as NXT Women's Champion, it is unlikely that Charlotte Flair will be losing her championship just yet. She still has yet to face a majority of the women on the roster, and it would make more sense for her to lose her title in a singles match to either of the two championship contenders in this match.
