#6 Potential spoiler on surprise entrants for the men's Royal Rumble match

On the men's Royal Rumble side, WWE has already announced 25 out of the 30 entrants. Truth be told, the line-up doesn't look as exciting as that of the women's and the company needs to have some major surprises in the remaining five spots.

According to rumors, Shane McMahon is booked to be in the men's Rumble match this year. He last wrestled at WrestleMania 37 where he lost to Braun Strowman in a steel cage match. Another star from last year's WrestleMania who is reportedly set to return at the Rumble is Bad Bunny.

There is also a lot of speculation that either Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns could enter the contest if they lose their title at the show to set up a WrestleMania 38 match.

#5 Rumor killer on AEW involvement in the show

Following the announcement of Mickie James entering this year's women's Royal Rumble match, WrestleVotes reported that WWE is planning to have an "unexpected" forbidden door entrant in the men's Rumble as well.

"Had more than 1 source this weekend, w/o me directly asking, state they believe WWE will try for an “unexpected” forbidden door entrant for the Men’s Royal Rumble. Personally I’m skeptical it happens, but I can confirm WWE is at least open to the idea. Which is exciting enough," tweeted WrestleVotes.

This led to massive speculation that WWE could book an AEW star to enter this year's Rumble with possible names like Chris Jericho and even Jon Moxley being speculated to show up.

However, Dave Meltzer has put this speculation to bed and has stated that there won't be any All Elite Wrestling involvement at the show. It would be a true shocker if Vince McMahon's promotion manages to get an AEW star to appear at Royal Rumble.
