WrestleMania 28 witnessed a historic match between Triple H and the Undertaker – a match that was hyped as the “end of an era”. As far as the Undertaker is concerned, that match really seems to be the end of an era. It’s said that the Undertaker is still feeling the effects from the match, which in turn forced the WWE to transport doctors to Taker’s house to take care of him. Taker had a hip replacement a few years back, and apparently, it has been acting up of late.
It’s not known as yet whether Taker will feature at WrestleMania 29. Of course, one cannot imagine WrestleMania without the Phenom’s enchanting presence! However, there are talks within the WWE to feature the legendary wrestler at Royal Rumble next year.
The Undertaker may or may not turn up at the biggest stage of them all, but even if he does, we won’t see matches of the same calibre anymore. Even if he’s unable to work at the same intensity anymore, an Undertaker presence at WrestleMania is a must for the sake of the show. Let’s hope the fire within the “Deadman” rekindles for one last shot before he walks into the sunset.
